GROWING IS KNOWING

One would rather


Be strong,


Say


“I’m grown!”

Than


Admit when he’s wrong!


In truth,


Being grown for some


Is just an age………..


Not maturity!


On the other hand,


Growing brings


Peace and continuity.


Knowing actions create


Repercussions!


Knowing there is


No growing


In one-sided discussions!


Never letting another


get a word in edge wise!


Simply throwing words as weapons,


Piercing loved ones hearts with sharp knives!




One should think about other’s feelings


Prior to words being spoken


Then maybe fewer spirits will be forever broken




Words are eternal, unlike the healing of bruises


One with maturity,


Thinks


Carefully


Before he chooses




Choosing to throw words as weapons


Cutting to the bone?


Or words of love,


With care being shown?






We all make mistakes,


That will forever be.


But truly being


“grOWN”


Requires
